One conversation with Lily and you'll feel so good about yourself:) She walked into the coffee shop calling me 'love' and it gave me all the warm fuzzies; the rest was history. They both are so genuinely sweet and I adore their love story. Lily is from Antigua and...
Corinna + Eros | Destination Wedding in Italy
I’m embarrassed to say how long it’s taken me to write this blog; this one specific blog post; maybe it’s because I was introducing a new style and shedding the older aesthetic which that within itself was a scary thought; maybe it’s because most of the names are in Italian and it was SUCH a trip of a lifetime that I wanted it to be perfect. There was a day when I used to travel and journal to keep track of all the key places I visited and new words I learned in a different language but there was no time for that as we trekked around northern Italy. My husband had never been overseas so this was our first trip together exploring a new land where very little English was spoken and driving was another animal itself. We were just so thankful for Corinna and Eros to fly us over and capture their love story in Eros’ hometown surrounded by Italian and Australian families merged. There were so many personal details brought to this wedding and my favorite was the reception where each table was named after a flower that was native to Brescia. Let’s not forget to mention the church they were married in that was built in 1480 and Castle Cimbergo which was even older. I’m trying to grasp the magnitude of our trip and I don’t think I can even put into words the beauty of it all. After the wedding, we went north towards the Dolomites and made our way up to Rittner Horn where our entire view was mountains 360 degrees. A few things we learned there in Italy and that was to NEVER get off the AUTOSTRADA and learn about it before you have a meltdown during your first encounter; wine is cheaper than water; and you never know what kind of bathroom you’ll walk into. We trekked around castles, ate delicious food, met the most amazing people and even took a detour over to Verona where we walked into the Coloseum and listened to opera music vibrate through those ancient walls where blood was once spilled and replaced with beauty.
Thank you again Corinna and Eros for an experience of a lifetime and I hope you all enjoy their wedding.

You’re my people if you like to have fun! That means I couldn't care less of the order of events as long as you’re laughing and enjoying each other. I understand we all need a timeline but girl, if you want pie, instead of a cake, go for it! Have a first look with a friend or hey, how about a first look between your groom and his mom? If it’s raining and you hired me to get those natural light photos, don’t be afraid to get your dress a little dirty.
