When Merritt asked me to photograph her elopement in Charleston, I had no problem saying ‘YES!’. I packed up my kids and my mom and we trekked the 5 hours up to Charleston from St. Augustine. If there is 1 thing I enjoy photographing the most, it’s probably elopements. Merritt requested some film so I shot with a 35mm Ilford Retro disposable camera and Cinestill 800T for my 35 mm camera. It was such a fun experience to shoot both film and digital and I plan on adding that to more packages in the future. We ended the evening at Gibbs Art Museum where they first met so it was pretty special. Enjoy this gorgeous Charleston elopement!
